And again he sent other servants, saying; Speak to those who have been called, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatling are slain, and all things are ready: come to the marriage. And they being careless, went away, one to his farm, and another to his merchandise:

And He said to him, A certain man made a great supper, and invited many; and at the hour, of the supper he sent his servants to say to those who were invited, Come; because they are now ready. And they all of one consent began to make excuse. The first said to him, I have bought a farm, and I have need having gone to see it: I pray thee have me excused. read more.
And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove the same: I intreat thee have me excused. Another said, I have married a wife, and on this account I am not able to come.
