And the man said, The woman whom thou gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate. And LORD God said to the woman, What is this thou have done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I ate.

And Samuel came to Saul. And Saul said to him, Blessed be thou of LORD. I have performed the commandment of LORD. And Samuel said, What then means this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear? And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites, for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen to sacrifice to LORD thy God, and the rest we have utterly destroyed.
