The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon my own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:
And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armor, and spices, horses, and mules, a set rate year by year.
Let the royal robes be brought which the king has worn, and the horse that the king rides upon, and the royal crown which is set upon his head:
And he had forty sons and thirty grandsons, that rode on threescore and ten donkey colts: and he judged Israel eight years.
And they brought every man his present, articles of silver, and articles of gold, and raiment, armor, and spices, horses, and mules, a set rate year by year. And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he stationed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
