After these things I saw, and, behold, a great multitude, which no one could number, out of every nation, and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands; and they cry with a great voice, saying, "Salvation to our God, Who sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb!" And he said to me, "These are those who come out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason are they before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His Temple; and He Who sitteth on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. They shall hunger no more, nor thirst any more; nor shall the sun by any means fall on them, nor any heat; because the Lamb, Who is in the midst of the throne, will be their Shepherd, and will guide them to the fountains of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

I am the door; through Me if any one enter, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came, that they may have life, and that they may have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his soul for the sheep. The hireling, who also is not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholds the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees (and the wolf seizes them, and scatters them); because he is a hireling, and cares not for the sheep. I am the Good Shepherd; and I know My own, and My own know Me, even as the Father knoweth Me, and I know the Father; and I lay down My soul for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and they shall become one flock, one Shepherd. On this account My Father loveth Me, because I lay down My soul, that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. This commandment I received from My Father.
