And LORD said to Moses, Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, There shall none defile himself for the dead among his people, except for his kin, who is near to him: for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother. And for his sister a virgin, who is near to him, who has had no husband, for her he may defile himself.

And they shall go in to no dead person to defile themselves. But for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister who has had no husband, they may defile themselves.


And he who lets the goat go for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

And he who burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water. And afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.
