Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, to the judges, and to all the leaders in all Israel, the heads of fathers' houses. At that time Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD gave the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, "Sun, stand still at Gibeon, and moon, in the Valley of Aijalon." They were put to death in the first days of harvest, at the beginning of barley harvest.

And David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army from Gibeon to Gezer.
