And there was a man in the synagogue possessed by the spirit of an impure demon, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying, Let us alone, what hast thou to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know who thou art, the holy one of God: but Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be silent, and come out of him. And they were all amazed, and said one to another, What a speech is this? for with authority and power He commandeth the impure spirits, and they come out!
