And after six days Jesus takes Peter, and James, and John his brother, and carries them up into an exceedingly high mountain privately. And Peter responding, said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: it you will, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah. He still speaking, behold, a white cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am delighted; hear ye Him. And the disciples, hearing, fell on their face, and feared exceedingly. And Jesus came to them and touching them said, Arise, and fear not. And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one, except Jesus only.
