And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren that hold the testimony of Jesus: worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

But when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of it, they rent their garments, and sprang forth among the multitude, crying out and saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? And with these sayings scarce restrained they the multitudes from doing sacrifice unto them.


But Peter raised him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.


And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not down, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath.

And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed down, and did reverence to Haman; for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not down, nor did him reverence.
