They will come trembling like birds from Egypt, like doves from Assyria. I will settle them in their homes, declares Jehovah.
Jehovah of Hosts will defend Jerusalem like a hovering bird. He will defend it and rescue it. He will pass over it and protect it.
As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird: No birth, no pregnancy and no conception!

As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird: No birth, no pregnancy and no conception!
All people are like grass. All their glory is like the blossom of a flower. The grass withers and the flower drops off.
