But I say unto you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those that curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you.
Bless those who persecute you: bless, and do not curse.
Verse Concepts
If thy enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, for thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.
If thou should encounter thine enemy's ox or his ass astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again. If thou see the ass of him that hates thee lying under his burden, will thou forbear to help him? Thou shalt surely help him to raise it up.
Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to those that hate you, and pray for those who speak evil about you, and persecute you;
