Therefore salt is good: but if the salt may lose its savor, with what shall it be salted? It is neither good for the land nor for excrement: they cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Ye are the salt of the earth; and if the salt may lose its savor, in what shall it be salted? It is yet without value, except having been cast out, to be trodden under feet by the people.
For every one shall be salted with fire. Salt is good: but if the salt may become savorless, with what will you salt it? Have salt in yourselves, and live in peace with one another.
