And when the children of Ammon saw that they stank in the nose of David, Hanun, and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire the chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia and out of Arammaacah and out of Zobah. And they hired thirty two thousand chariots, and the king of Maacah and his people, which came and pitched before Medeba.
