And she sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, to call to those who pass by, who go right on their ways: He who is simple, let him turn in here. And as for him who is void of understanding, she says to him, read more.
Stolen waters are sweet, and bread in secret is pleasant.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king. After the end of seventy years it shall be to Tyre as in the song of the harlot: Take a harp, go about the city, thou harlot who has been forgotten. Make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou may be remembered.

And the harp and the lute, the tambourine and the pipe, and wine, are [in] their feasts, but they do not regard the work of LORD, nor have they considered the operation of his hands. They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. They sing to the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the pipe.

And it came to pass after the end of seventy years, that LORD examined Tyre, and she has repented of her gift, that she play the harlot with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
