O LORD, thou are my God. I will exalt thee. I will praise thy name. For thou have done wonderful things, [even] counsels of old, in faithfulness [and] truth. For thou have made of a city a heap, of a fortified city a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city. It shall never be built. Therefore a strong people shall glorify thee, a city of oppressive nations shall fear thee.

For the sons of Israel shall abide many days without king, and without ruler, and without sacrifice, and without pillar, and without ephod or teraphim. Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek LORD their God and David their king, and shall come with fear to LORD and to his goodness in the latter days.
