Thematic Bible: Jehoiakim and his servants

Now the king sat in the winter house, for it was in the ninth Month, and there was a good fire before him. And when Jehudi had read three or four leaves thereof, he cut the book in pieces with a pen knife, and cast it into the fire upon the hearth, until the book was all burnt in the fire upon the hearth. Yet no man was abashed thereof, or rent his clothes: neither the king himself, nor his servants, though they heard all these words.
