For thus says LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends. And they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold it. And I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Bab Moreover I will give all the riches of this city, and all the gains of it, and all the precious things of it, yea, all the treasures of the kings of Judah I will give into the hand of their enemies. O inhabitant of Lebanon, who makes thy nest in the cedars, how greatly to be pitied thou shall be when pangs come upon thee, the pain as of a woman in travail! And I will cast thee out, and thy mother who bore thee, into another country where ye were not born, and there ye shall die.

But to the land to which their soul longs to return, there they shall not return. Is this man Coniah a despised broken vessel? Is he a vessel in which none delights?
