Notwithstanding yet the thirty seventh year after Jehoiachin king of Judah was carried away, the twenty seventh day of the twelfth month, did Evilmerodach king of Babylon lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of the prison house, and spake kindly to him and set his seat above the seat of all the kings that were with him at Babylon, and changed his prison garments.
