He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.



The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.

"Yahweh, when you went forth out of Seir, when you marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the sky also dropped. Yes, the clouds dropped water.

Do you know the workings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge?

He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.

If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves on the earth; and if a tree falls toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there shall it be. He who observes the wind won't sow; and he who regards the clouds won't reap.

Before the sun, the light, the moon, and the stars are darkened, and the clouds return after the rain;

He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke. I applied my heart to seek and to search out by wisdom concerning all that is done under the sky. It is a heavy burden that God has given to the sons of men to be afflicted with. I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and behold, all is vanity and a chasing after wind. That which is crooked can't be made straight; and that which is lacking can't be counted. read more.
I said to myself, "Behold, I have obtained for myself great wisdom above all who were before me in Jerusalem. Yes, my heart has had great experience of wisdom and knowledge." I applied my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also was a chasing after wind.


God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.
