And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, And found in the temple those that sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the changers of money, sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; read more.
And said to them that sold doves, Take these things hence: make not my Father's house a house of merchandise. And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thy house hath eaten me up. Then answered the Jews, and said to him, What sign showest thou to us, seeing that thou doest these things? Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spoke of the temple of his body. When therefore he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this to them: and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken. Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he performed. But Jesus did not commit himself to them, because he knew all men. And needed not that any should testify concerning man: for he knew what was in man.


Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?



Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spoke of the temple of his body.


And will deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he will rise again.

And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

When therefore he had risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this to them: and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken.


And he came by the spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.

And as some spoke of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and gifts, he said,

And they knew that it was he who sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened to him.


Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

And as he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to him, Master, see what manner of stones, and what buildings are here!

And as some spoke of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and gifts, he said,
