For the LORD, who is high and lifted up, looks upon the humble, but the proud he does not know.

for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden; for, behold, from now on all generations shall call me blessed.

And they rose up the same hour and returned to Jerusalem and found the eleven gathered together and those that were with them, saying, The Lord is risen indeed and has appeared to Simon. And they told what things were done in the way and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.
