And Israel struck him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was fortified.

Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon. And the leader of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli. The leader of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod. And the leader of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan. And the leader of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach. And the leader of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan. And the leader of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi. And the leader of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud. These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh. With the other half tribe, the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them; From Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the valley, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon; read more.
And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, as far as the border of the children of Ammon; And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salecah; All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses defeat, and cast them out. Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day. Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.
