Then Israel struck him with the edge of the sword, and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as the sons of Ammon; for the border of the sons of Ammon was Jazer.
When you come opposite the sons of Ammon, do not harass them nor provoke them, for I will not give you any of the land of the sons of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot as a possession.’

"Of the tribe of the sons of Asher a leader, Ahihud the son of Shelomi. "Of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali a leader, Pedahel the son of Ammihud." These are those whom the LORD commanded to apportion the inheritance to the sons of Israel in the land of Canaan.

But the sons of Israel did not dispossess the Geshurites or the Maacathites; for Geshur and Maacath live among Israel until this day. Only to the tribe of Levi he did not give an inheritance; the offerings by fire to the LORD, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as He spoke to him.
