And the LORD spake to Moses, saying, "These are the names of the men, which shall divide the land to inherit among you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun. And ye shall take also a lord of every tribe to divide the land, read more.
whose names are these: in the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh; and in the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud; and in the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon; and in the tribe of the children of Dan, the lord Bukki the son of Jogli; and among the children of Joseph: in the tribe of the children of Manasseh, the lord Hanniel the son of Ephod; and in the tribe of the children of Ephraim, the lord Kemuel the son of Shiphtan; and in the tribe of the sons of Zebulon, the lord Elizaphan the son of Parnach; and in the tribe of the children of Issachar, the lord Paltiel the son of Azzan; and in the tribe of the sons of Asher, the lord Ahihud the son of Shelomi; and in the tribe of the children of Naphtali, the lord Pedahel the son of Ammihud." These are they which the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel, in the land of Canaan.

Now therefore divide this land to inherit, unto the nine tribes and the half tribe of Manasseh." For the other half, with the Reubenites and the Gadites, have received their inheritance already which Moses gave them beyond Jordan eastward: even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them: from Aroer that lieth on the brim of the river Arnon, with the city in the midst of the river. and all the cities of Sihon, king of the Amorites which reigned in Heshbon, even unto the borders of the children of Ammon; and Gilead, and the lands that border upon the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and all mount Hermon and all Bashan unto Salecah; even all the kingdom of Og in Bashan which reigned in Ashtaroth and Edrei which same remained yet of the rest of the Rephaim. But Moses smote them and destroyed them. Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites nor the Maacathites: But the Geshurites and the Maacathites dwelt among the Israelites even unto this day. Only unto the tribe of Levi, he gave none inheritance: for the offering of the LORD God of Israel is their inheritance as he said unto them.
