Mountain » Melted
The mountains tremble for him, the hills consume. At the sight of him the earth quaketh: yea, the whole world, and all that dwell therein.
ye came and stood also under the hill, and the hill burnt with fire: even unto the midst of heaven, and there was darkness, clouds and mist.
The hills melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth.
But as soon as ye heard the voice out of the darkness and saw the hill burn with fire, ye came unto me all the heads of your tribes and your elders:
the mountains melted before the LORD, even mount Sinai before the LORD God of Israel.
O that thou wouldest cleave the heaven in sunder, and come down: that the mountains might melt away at thy presence, like as at a hot fire; that the malicious might boil away, as the water doth upon the fire. Whereby thy name might be known among thine enemies, and that the Gentiles might tremble before thee. When thou wroughtest wondrous strange works, we looked not for them: thou camest down and the hills melted at thy presence.
The mountains shall consume under him, and the valleys shall cleave asunder: like as wax consumeth at the fire, and as the waters run downward.
