Book Summary:

Lamentations was written as Jeremiah wept over Jerusalem, when it was taken into captivity. God however will always turn terrible situations around towards his glory and make them work for His purpose. God used the Israel captivity to chasten them into a position that they would not go after other gods in idolatry. He will do the same in our lives but we can know that in suffering we are in the realms of His arms. God loves us with the same love He loved Jesus, that love involves the path of suffering and in the trial we know He is there because He is faithful.
