The disciple whom Jesus loved was leaning on his chest.
He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in the darkness! He who loves his brother lives in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling (offence) in him.
We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who does not love abides in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer!
