For as the days of Noe were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man. For, as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day on which Noe entered into the ark, and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so will be the coming of the Son of Man. read more.
Then two men will be in the field; one is carried off, and one is left behind; two women will be grinding at the mill, one is carried off, and one is left behind. Watch ye, therefore, because ye know not in what day your Lord is coming. But know this, that, had the householder known at what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through. Therefore, be ye also ready; for, in an hour that ye think not, the Son of Man is coming. "Who, then, is the faithful and wise servant whom his lord set over his household, to give them their food in season? Happy is that servant whom his lord, when he comes, shall find so doing. Verily I say to you, that he will appoint him over all his possessions. But, if that evil servant shall say in his heart, 'My lord is delaying,' and shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and shall eat and drink with the drunken; the lord of that servant will come in a day when he is not expecting him, and in an hour when he knows not, and will cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There will be the weeping, and the gnashing of teeth!"

"And, as it happened in the days of Noah, so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day on which Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise, also, as it happened in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; read more.
but on the day on which Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all: after the same manner shall it be in the day the Son of Man is revealed. "In that day let him who shall be on the housetop and his goods in the house not come down to take them away: and let him who is in the field likewise not return back. Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to gain his soul shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose it, will preserve it. I say to you, in that night there will be two men on one bed; the one will be taken, and the other will be left. There will be two women grinding together; the one will be taken, and the other will be left." OMITTED TEXT. And, answering, they say to Him, "Where, Lord?" and He said to them, "Where the body is, there will the eagles also be gathered together."

But concerning that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of Heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only. For as the days of Noe were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man. "When, therefore, ye see the abomination of the desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (let him that reads understand),

And, when He came near, seeing the city, He wept over it, saying, "If you knew, in this your day??ven you??he things pertaining to peace! but just now were they hid from your eyes! Because the days will come upon you, when your enemies will cast a rampart about you, and compass you round, and hem you in on all sides; read more.
and they will dash you to the ground, and your children within you; and shall not leave in you a stone upon a stone; because you knew not the season of your visitation."

"But when ye see Jerusalem encompassed by armies, then know that her desolation has drawn near. Then let those in Judaea flee into the mountains; and let those in the midst of it depart; and let not those in the country enter therein; because these are days of vengeance, that all the things written may be fulfilled. read more.
Woe to the women with child, and to those giving suck, in those days; for there will be great distress on the land, and wrath to this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led away captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trodden down by gentiles, until the times of the gentiles are fulfilled.

Jerusalem! Jerusalem! that kills the prophets, and stones those sent to her! how often did I wish to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left to you desolate!

But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not, (let him that reads understand), then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains; And let him who is on the house not come down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house; and let him who is in the field not turn back to take his garment. read more.
But woe to those with child and to those giving suck in those days! And pray that it be not in winter; for those days will be a time of tribulation, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be. And, unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would have been saved; but, for the elect's sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days. And then, if any one shall say to you, 'Lo, here is the Christ!' or, 'Lo, there!' believe him not; for there will arise false Christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect. But take heed; I have foretold you all things.

But I say to you, ye shall in no wise see Me, until ye shall say, 'Blessed is He Who is coming in the name of the Lord!'"

And being asked by the Pharisees, when the Kingdom of God is coming, He answered them, and said, "The Kingdom of God comes not with observation; nor will they say, 'Lo, here!' or, 'Lo, there!' for, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you." And He said to the disciples, "There will come days, when ye will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and ye will not see it. read more.
And they will say to you, 'Lo, there!' or "Lo, here!' go not away, nor follow after them. For, as the lightning, flashing out of one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall be the Son of Man. But first He must suffer many things, and be rejected by this generation.
