Luke 17:1

And He said to His disciples, "It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe to him through whom they come!

Luke 17:2

It were profitable for him, if a millstone were placed about his neck, and he thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

Luke 17:3

Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and, if he repents, forgive him.

Luke 17:4

And, if he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times turns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him."

Luke 17:5

And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."

Luke 17:6

And the Lord said, "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say to this sycamine tree, 'Be rooted up, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.

Luke 17:7

But who is there of you, having a servant plowing, or tending sheep, that will say to him, having come in from the field, 'Coming straightway, recline at table;'

Luke 17:8

and will not rather say to him, 'Make ready wherewith I may sup; and, having girded yourself, serve me, until I eat and drink; and afterward you shall eat and drink?'

Luke 17:9

Does he thank the servant, because he did the things that were commanded?

Luke 17:10

So also ye, when ye do all the things that were commanded you, say, 'We are unprofitable servants; we have done what it was our duty to do.'

Luke 17:11

And it came to pass, when He was journeying to Jerusalem, that He was passing through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

Luke 17:12

And, as He was entering into a certain village, there met Him ten leprous men, who stood afar off;

Luke 17:13

and they lifted up their voice, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"

Luke 17:14

And, when He saw them, He said to them, "Going your way, show yourselves to the priests." And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed.

Luke 17:15

And one of them, seeing that he was cleansed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice,

Luke 17:16

and fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him; and he was a Samaritan.

Luke 17:17

And Jesus, answering, said, "Were not the ten cleansed? Where are the nine?

Luke 17:18

Were none found, returning to give glory to God, except this stranger?"

Luke 17:19

And He said to him, "Arising, go on your way; your faith has made you whole."

Luke 17:20

And being asked by the Pharisees, when the Kingdom of God is coming, He answered them, and said, "The Kingdom of God comes not with observation;

Luke 17:21

nor will they say, 'Lo, here!' or, 'Lo, there!' for, behold, the Kingdom of God is within you."

Luke 17:22

And He said to the disciples, "There will come days, when ye will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and ye will not see it.

Luke 17:23

And they will say to you, 'Lo, there!' or "Lo, here!' go not away, nor follow after them.

Luke 17:24

For, as the lightning, flashing out of one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall be the Son of Man.

Luke 17:25

But first He must suffer many things, and be rejected by this generation.

Luke 17:26

"And, as it happened in the days of Noah, so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man:

Luke 17:27

they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day on which Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Luke 17:28

Likewise, also, as it happened in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;

Luke 17:29

but on the day on which Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:

Luke 17:30

after the same manner shall it be in the day the Son of Man is revealed.

Luke 17:31

"In that day let him who shall be on the housetop and his goods in the house not come down to take them away: and let him who is in the field likewise not return back.

Luke 17:32

Remember Lot's wife.

Luke 17:33

Whosoever shall seek to gain his soul shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose it, will preserve it.

Luke 17:34

I say to you, in that night there will be two men on one bed; the one will be taken, and the other will be left.

Luke 17:35

There will be two women grinding together; the one will be taken, and the other will be left."

And, answering, they say to Him, "Where, Lord?" and He said to them, "Where the body is, there will the eagles also be gathered together."
