And, running before, he climbed up into a sycamore tree, that he might see Him; because He was about to pass along that way. And, when He came to the place, Jesus, looking up, said to him, "Zacchaeus, hastening, come down; for to-day I must abide in your house." And, hastening, he came down, and received Him joyfully. And, seeing it, they were all murmuring, saying, "He went in to be guest with a sinful man!" And, standing, Zacchaeus said to the Lord, "Behold, the half of my goods, Lord, I give to the poor; and, if I wrongfully exacted anything from any one, I restore four-fold." And Jesus said to him, "To-day salvation came to this house, inasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which is lost."
