Then the Lord, after having thus spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. But they going forth preached every where, the Lord working mightily with them, and confirming the word, by attendant miracles.

And it came to pass, as he pronounced the benediction upon them, he was parted from them, and taken up into heaven. And as they looked up earnestly into the heaven, while he was passing, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; who also said to them, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up to heaven? this Jesus, who hath been taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, in the same manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. read more.
