And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed, except Naaman the Syrian. But he, passing through the midst of them, went away. And he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him, and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands; and what can he have more but the kingdom?

Thus hath the LORD said: For three transgressions of Edom and for the fourth, I will not convert her because she pursued her brother with the sword and cast off all mercy, and with her anger she stole from him perpetually, and she kept her wrath for ever:
