She said to him, Say that these my two sons shall sit, one on your right hand, and the other on your left, in your kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, You know not what you ask. But whoever wishes to be great among you, let him be your minister; and whoever wishes to be first among you, let him be your servant, as the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
