And He entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there, having his hand withered.
Mark 3:2 (show verse)
And they were watching Him, whether He would heal him on the sabbath; that they might accuse Him.
Mark 3:3 (show verse)
And He saith to the man having the withered hand, "Arise in the midst."
Mark 3:4 (show verse)
And He saith to them, "Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do harm, to save a life, or to kill?" But they were silent.

And having looked round about on them with anger, and being grieved at the hardness of their heart, He saith to the man, "Stretch forth your hand." And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored.

And the Pharisees, having gone out, were straightway taking counsel with the Herodians against Him, how they might destroy Him.

And Jesus with His disciples withdrew to the sea; and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him; and from Judaea,
Mark 3:8 (show verse)
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing what things He was doing, came to Him.

And He spake to His disciples, that a little boat should wait, on Him, lest they should throng Him;
Mark 3:10 (show verse)
for He had healed many, so that as many as had plagues pressed upon Him, that they might touch Him.
Mark 3:11 (show verse)
And the unclean spirits, whensoever they were beholding Him, were falling down before Him, and crying, saying, "Thou art the Son of God."

And He was charging them much, that they should not make Him manifest.
Mark 3:13 (show verse)
And He goeth up into the mountain, and called to Himself those whom He wished.
Mark 3:14 (show verse)
And He appointed twelve [whom He also named apostles], that they might be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach,

and to have authority to cast out demons.
Mark 3:16 (show verse)
And to Simon He added the name Peter;
Mark 3:17 (show verse)
and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, (and He added to these the name "Boanerges," that is, "sons of thunder");

and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Cananaean,

and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him. And He cometh into a house.
Mark 3:20 (show verse)
And the multitude comes together again, so that they could not even eat bread.
Mark 3:21 (show verse)
And, hearing of it, His kinsmen went out to lay hold on Him; for they said, "He became insane!"
Mark 3:22 (show verse)
And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He hath Beelzebub, and by the ruler of the demons casteth out the demons."

And, having called them to Him, He said to them in parables, "How can Satan cast out Satan?
Mark 3:24 (show verse)
And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
Mark 3:25 (show verse)
And if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
Mark 3:26 (show verse)
And, if Satan did arise against himself, and was divided, he cannot stand, but has an end.
Mark 3:27 (show verse)
But no one is able, after having entered into the house of the strong man, to plunder his goods, except he first bind the strong man; and then will he plunder his house.

Verily I say to you, all the sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies whatsoever they blaspheme;
Mark 3:29 (show verse)
but whosoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit has no forgiveness forever, but is guilty of an eternal sin;
Mark 3:30 (show verse)
because they said, 'He hath an unclean spirit.'"
Mark 3:31 (show verse)
And His mother and His brothers come; and, standing without, they sent to Him, calling Him.
Mark 3:32 (show verse)
And a multitude was sitting about Him; and they say to Him, "Behold, Thy mother and Thy brothers without are seeking for Thee."
Mark 3:33 (show verse)
And, answering them, He saith, "Who is My mother, and My brothers?"
Mark 3:34 (show verse)
And looking around on those who sat about Him, He saith, "Behold, My mother, and My brothers!
Mark 3:35 (show verse)
For whosoever does the will of God, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother."
