Then great crowds came to him bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, or dumb, and many others. And they laid them down at his feet, and he cured them, so that the people were astonished to see the dumb speak, the lame walk, and the blind see. And they praised the God of Israel.

And Jesus forbade them to tell anyone about it, but the more he forbade them the more they spread the news far and wide. And people were utterly amazed, and said, "How well he has done everything! He even makes the deaf hear and the dumb speak!"
And he looked up to heaven and sighed, and said to him, "Ephphatha!"??hich means "Open." And his ears were opened and his tongue was released and he talked plainly. And Jesus forbade them to tell anyone about it, but the more he forbade them the more they spread the news far and wide. And people were utterly amazed, and said, "How well he has done everything! And Jesus left that place and retired to the neighborhood of Tyre and Sidon. And a Canaanite woman of that district came out and screamed, "Son of David, take pity on me, sir! My daughter is dreadfully possessed by a demon!" But he would not answer her a word. And his disciples came up and urged him, saying, "Send her away, for she keeps screaming after us." read more.
But he answered, "I am sent only to the lost sheep of Israel's house." And she came and fell down before him, and said, "Help me, sir!" He said, "It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs!" But she said, "O yes, sir! For even dogs eat the scraps that fall from their masters' table!" Then Jesus answered, "You have great faith! You shall have what you want." And her daughter was cured from that time.
But he answered, "I am sent only to the lost sheep of Israel's house." And she came and fell down before him, and said, "Help me, sir!" He said, "It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs!" But she said, "O yes, sir! For even dogs eat the scraps that fall from their masters' table!" Then Jesus answered, "You have great faith! You shall have what you want." And her daughter was cured from that time.

And he could not keep it secret, but a woman whose little daughter was possessed by a foul spirit immediately heard about him and came and threw herself at his feet. Now the woman was a Greek, of Syrophoenician birth. And she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter. read more.
