And he asked them, "But who do you say [that] I am?" Peter answered [and] said to him, "You are the Christ!" And he warned them that they should tell no one about him. And he began to teach them that it was necessary [for] the Son of Man to suffer many [things] and to be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and to be killed, and after three days to rise. read more.
And he was speaking openly [about] the subject, and Peter took him aside [and] began to rebuke him. But turning around and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter and said, "Get behind me, Satan, because you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but the things of people!" And summoning the crowd together with his disciples, he said to them, "If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life on account of me and of the gospel will save it. For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?


And [as] they were coming down from the mountain, he ordered them that they should tell no one [the things] that they had seen, except when the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

And he ordered them that they should say nothing, but as much as he ordered them [not to], they proclaimed [it] even more instead.

Then he commanded the disciples that they should tell no one that he was the Christ.

And their eyes were opened, and Jesus sternly warned them, saying, "See [that] no one finds out."

And he warned them strictly that they should not make him known.

And he commanded them strictly that no one should learn of this, and said to give her [something] to eat.

And he warned them that they should tell no one about him.


Then he commanded the disciples that they should tell no one that he was the Christ.

And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them."

And he ordered him, "Tell no one, but go [and] show yourself to the priest and bring [the offering] for your cleansing just as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

And their eyes were opened, and Jesus sternly warned them, saying, "See [that] no one finds out."

And he warned them strictly that they should not make him known.

And he commanded them strictly that no one should learn of this, and said to give her [something] to eat.

And he warned them that they should tell no one about him.

And he warned them that they should not {reveal his identity},

And [as] they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them saying, "Tell no one the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead."
