And Jesus, having called His disciples near, said, "I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with Me now three days, and have nothing to eat; and I am not willing to send them away fasting, lest haply they faint in the way." And His disciples say to Him, "Whence should we, in a wilderness, have so many loaves as to satisfy so great a multitude?" And Jesus saith to them, "How many loaves have ye?" And, having commanded the multitude to recline on the ground, He took the seven loaves and the fishes; giving thanks, He broke, and was giving to the disciples; and the disciples to the multitudes. And they all ate, and were satisfied; and they took up what was over of the pieces seven baskets full; and those eating were four thousand men, besides women and children. And, dismissing the multitudes, He went up into the boat, and came into the borders of Magadan.

In those days, when there was again a great multitude, and they had nothing to eat, He called to Him His disciples and saith to them, "I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with Me now three days, and have nothing to eat; and, if I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint in the way; and some of them are from afar." read more.

And He commandeth the multitude to sit down on the ground; and, taking the seven loaves, having given thanks, He broke, and was giving to the disciples, to set before them; and they set them before the multitude. And they had a few small fishes; and, having blessed them, He commanded to set these also before them. And they ate, and were satisfied; and they took up, of the pieces that remained over, seven baskets. And they were about four thousand; and He sent them away.

And, having commanded the multitudes to recline on the grass??aking the five loaves and two fishes??ooking up into the heaven, He blessed; and, having broken, He gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes. And they all ate, and were satisfied; and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full. And those eating were about five thousand men, besides women and children.
