Thematic Bible: Mocked by the soldiers (in jerusalem)

Then the soldiers of the leader, having taken Jesus to the Pretorium, gathered together the whole band against him. And having unclothed him, they put round him a scarlet, loose, warm cloak. And having twined a crown of thorns, they put upon, his head: and a reed upon his right hand: and having fallen upon the knees before him, they mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! read more.
And having spit upon him, they took the reed, and struck upon his head. And when they mocked him, they put off from him the loose, warm cloak, and put on him his garments, and brought him away to crucify.

And the soldiers led him away within the hall, which is the Pretorium; and they call together the whole band. And they clothed him with purple, and put round him, having woven, a thorny crown. And they began to greet him, Hail, O King of the Jews read more.
And they struck his head with a reed, and they spit upon him, and having placed the knees, they worshipped him. And when they mocked him, they put off the purple from him, and clothed him with his own garments, and led him out that they might crucify him.
