Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn unto me with all your heart and with fasting and with weeping, and with mourning:

If I shut up the heavens that there be no rain or if I command the locusts to devour the land or if I send pestilence among my people; if my people, upon whom my name is invoked, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from the heavens and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
And the people came to the house of God and abode there until the evening before God and lifted up their voices and wept sore and said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel that there should be one tribe lacking in Israel today?
