And Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he turned water into wine. And there was a certain ruler, whose son was sick at Capernaum. As soon as the same heard that Jesus was come out of Jewry, into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him, that he would descend, and heal his son: For he was even ready to die. The ruler said unto him, "Sir, come away or ever that my child die." Jesus said unto him, "Go thy way, thy son liveth." And the man believed the words that Jesus had spoken unto him, and went his way. And anon as he went on his way, his servants met him, and told him, saying, "Thy child liveth." Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, "Yesterday, the seventh hour, the fever left him." And the father knew that it was the same hour in which Jesus said unto him, "Thy son liveth." And he believed, and all his household.
