Thematic Bible: Not being troubled

Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe? Look, the time is coming, yes, and has now come, that you will be scattered, everyone to his own place, and you will leave me alone. But I am not alone, because the Father is with me. I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up. I have overcome the world."

Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling place with him. But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
