The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence. And they returned from exploring the land after forty days. Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month; and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.
And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.
And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.
These are the words which Moses spoke to all Israel on the east side of Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against Suf, between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.
And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took for him a wife out of the land of Egypt.
And the children of Israel took their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.
And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word to them, and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.
And Moses, by the commandment of the LORD, sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.
