And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, [and] brought brooches, and earrings, and signet-rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold, even every man who offered an offering of gold to LORD. And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' [hair], and rams' skins dyed red, and sea-skins, brought them. read more.

And we have brought LORD's oblation, what every man has gotten, of jewels of gold, ankle-chains, and bracelets, signet-rings, earrings, and armlets, to make atonement for our souls before LORD. read more.

And who will hearken to you in this matter? For as his share is who goes down to the battle so shall his share be who remains by the baggage; they shall share alike.

And the half, which was the portion of those who went out to war, was in number three hundred thirty-seven thousand and five hundred sheep. And LORD's tribute of the sheep was six hundred and seventy-five. And the oxen were thirty-six thousand, of which LORD's tribute was seventy-two. And the donkeys were thirty thousand and five hundred, of which LORD's tribute was sixty-one. And the persons were sixteen thousand, of whom LORD's tribute was thirty-two persons. And Moses gave the tribute, which was LORD's heave-offering, to Eleazar the priest, as LORD commanded Moses. And of the sons of Israel's half, which Moses divided off from the men who warred (now the congregation's half was three hundred thirty-seven thousand and five hundred sheep, and thirty-six thousand oxen, and thirty thousand and five hundred donkeys, and sixteen thousand persons), even of the sons of Israel's half, Moses took one drawn out of every fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them to the Levites, who kept the charge of the tabernacle of LORD, as LORD commanded Moses.
