Amorites » Allotted to reuben, gad, and manasseh
And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof within the borders, even the cities of the surrounding country. And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer, And Atroth Shophan, and Jazer, and Jogbehah, read more.
And Bethnimrah, and Bethharan, fortified cities: and folds for sheep. And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kiriathaim, And Nebo, and Baalmeon, (their names being changed,) and Sibmah: and gave other names unto the cities which they built. And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorites who were in it. And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein. And Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof, and called them Havothjair. And Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof, and called it Nobah, after his own name.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families. And their territory was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the valley, and all the plain by Medeba; Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamothbaal, and Bethbaalmeon, read more.
And Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath, And Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zerethshahar in the mount of the valley, And Bethpeor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Bethjeshimoth, And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses struck with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, who were princes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.
