For to me all the first-born: in the day I struck all the first-born in the land of Egypt, I consecrated to me every first-born in Israel, from man to cattle: to me they shall be: I am Jehovah.

Thy fulness and thy tears thou shalt not delay: the first-born of thy sons thou shalt give to me. Thus shalt thou do to thine ox, to thy sheep: seven days shall it be with its mother; in the eighth day thou shalt give it to me.
All opening the womb is to me: all thy cattle, the male, the firstling of the ox or sheep.
