And He spake the saying openly. And Peter took Him, and began to rebuke Him. But He, turning about, and seeing the disciples, rebuked Peter, and saith, "Get behind Me, Satan; because you are not minding the things of God, but the things of men." And, calling the multitude to Him with His disciples, He said to them, "If any one wishes to come after Me, let him disown himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever would save his soul shall lose it; and whosoever will lose his soul for My sake and the Gospel's, shall save it. For what does it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and suffer damage as to his soul?
