Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or if not, believe for the sake of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, shall also do the works which I am doing; and shall do greater works than these: because I go to the Father: and whatsoever you may ask in my name, I will do it, in order that the rather may be glorified in the Son.

Philip finds Nathanael and says to him, We have found Him, of whom Moses and the prophets, in the law, did write, Jesus the son of Joseph, who is from Nazareth. Nathanael said to him, Is any good thing able to come out of Nazareth? Philip says to him, Come and see. Nathanael responded, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God, the King of Israel. Jesus responded and said to him, Because I said to thee, that I saw thee under the fig-tree, dost thou believe? thou shalt see greater things than these.
