Thematic Bible: Overruling wicked designs for good
Thematic Bible
The Providence of God » Is exercised in » Overruling wicked designs for good
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.
But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened to me have fallen out rather to the furtherance of the gospel;
Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither; for God sent me before you to preserve life. For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in which there shall neither be tillage nor harvest. And God sent me before you, to preserve for you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
