Everyone who goes on ahead and does not remain in the teaching of Christ does not have God. The one who remains in this teaching has both the Father and the Son.
The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the unfaithful destroys them.
Like an archer who wounds at random, so is the one who hires a fool or hires any passer-by.
The eyes of the Lord guard knowledge, but he overthrows the words of the faithless person.
Sinful rebels are totally destroyed; evil men have no future.
From the fruit of his speech a person eats good things, but the faithless desire the fruit of violence.
For the upright will reside in the land, and those with integrity will remain in it, but the wicked will be removed from the land, and the treacherous will be torn away from it.
The wicked become a ransom for the righteous, and the faithless are taken in the place of the upright.
From one month to the next and from one Sabbath to the next, all people will come to worship me," says the Lord. "They will go out and observe the corpses of those who rebelled against me, for the maggots that eat them will not die, and the fire that consumes them will not die out. All people will find the sight abhorrent."
