Greatness » What is great
and they sang the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the lamb, saying,
{Khet} Namely, that the mercies of the LORD are not clean gone, and that his loving-kindness ceaseth not. His faithfulness is great and reneweth itself as the morning.
How dear are thy counsels unto me, O God! O how great is the sum of them!
that I may build a house for the name of the LORD my God, to consecrate it to him to burn sweet odours and to set shewbread before him perpetually, and for burnt sacrifices morning and evening, and on the Sabbath days, and the first day of every new moon, and in the solemn feasts of the LORD our God, so to continue ever in Israel. And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above other gods.
O LORD, how glorious are thy works! Thy thoughts are very deep. An unwise man will not know this, and a fool will not understand it -
The LORD is full of compassion and mercy; longsuffering, and of great goodness. He will not alwayS be chiding, neither keepeth he his anger forever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our wickedness. read more.
For look how high the heaven is in comparison of the earth; so great is his mercy also toward them that fear him.

But if his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments, if they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments, I will visit their offenses with the rod, and their sins with scourges. Nevertheless, my loving-kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my truth to fail.

{A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah} O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee. For the LORD is gracious, his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endureth from generation to generation.
